The law firm of Marrone, Robinson, Frederick & Foster was born
on February 1, 1986, as the result of an evolutionary process.
The law firm of Coyle & Dunford was formed in the mid 1960's.
The law firm hired Phillip Marrone as a law clerk, who continued
as an associate after passing the Bar; hired Jay Robinson as a law
clerk, who continued as an associate after passing the Bar; hired
Alan Frederick as a law clerk, who continued as an associate after
passing the Bar. Thus, these three attorneys have practiced together
since June 1973 in one capacity or another. Thomas Foster was
added as an associate attorney in January 1977. Gary Ellington
joined the present firm in May 1991. Scot Sandoval joined the firm
in 1993. These are our current “partners.”
During the process of evolution, the firm name was changed to Coyle,
Dunford, Marrone & Robinson; Coyle, Marrone, Robinson; and, Marrone,
Robinson, Frederick & Foster.
The nature of this firm's practice is civil litigation with
an emphasis on insurance defense, insurance coverage and personal
injury, with occasional efforts in transactional law. The firm handles
cases from inception, through all appeals, and handles cases in
many different areas of law.
