Phillip R. Marrone attended the California State University at Los
Angeles where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Political Science in 1965. He received his legal education at
Loyola University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate
Degree in 1969. He was admitted to the California State Bar in
1970. Mr. Marrone is a member of the Panel of Arbitrators,
American Arbitration Association; Arbitrator, Los Angeles Superior
Court; Los Angeles Superior Court Settlement Officer Program. He
is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association;
American Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; International
Association of Defense Counsel; Association of Southern California
Defense Counsel. He was president of the Southern California
Association of Southern California Defense Counsel in 1987. He is
a Continuing Education of the Bar lecturer and a member of the
University of California, Hastings College of Law, College of
Advocacy Faculty.
Mr. Marrone is an experienced trial lawyer specializing in
products liability, general liability, fraud and arson matters
with extensive experience in first party and third party bad faith
litigation, commercial vehicle, construction defect, premises
liability and coverage matters.
